A French artist of Malagasy and Martinican descent, Fanny Irina began a preparatory programme in the visual arts in Gagny in 2018 before going on to study at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Since 2022, she has regularly taken part in group exhibitions, including Pièce, Habitation, Abri… at the Musée national Eugène Delacroix, which she co-curated. Following a widely noticed contribution to the exhibition Ce que le monde doit à la nuit (2022) at Galerie Cécile Fakhoury in Paris, she was invited in 2023 to present her first solo exhibition, Chimères, at the gallery's Abidjan space, the culmination of a residency at the ceramics centre in Grand-Bassam. In 2024, she graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and went on to win the 2025 À première vue prize. Fanny Irina currently develops her new work at the IOTA Lecourbe studios in Paris.
